Plan your MeepleCon with Aftergame! 

Many of you are already using the awesome new Aftergame app to plan your gaming meetups, and this year you will be able to use Aftergame to plan your MeepleCon weekend!

Aftergame is a fantastic new app created over the pond in New Zealand, and it has quickly become the go-to place for Kiwi and Aussie gamers to manage their gaming calendars.

By signing up to the MeepleCon 2024 event in Aftergame you can view the schedule of events for the weekend, and plan your own event calendar by signing up to the events you want to be a part of. You can also get reminders when your event is about to start!

And there’s more! If you’ve got that game you’ve been itching to play, you can set up your own games and invite others to join them. Just click ‘Plan a Game’, search for the game using the built-in lookup and fill in the details! 

This is a fantastic way to get those games played that are harder to get to the table, and to meet new gamers. Note that some events and timings may change as we get closer to the event. 

To get the best out of this feature, here’s a couple of tips:

a) You need to supply your own copy of the game. The library is first come first served, so if you’re relying on the library copy someone else may already be playing it! 

b) You can set a location, and update that at any time, including putting a red dot on the floor plan. So you can either say something like ‘meet near the stage’, or you can say ‘check Aftergame just before the event’, find a table and update the event to say exactly where you’re setting up.

c) Finally, for everyone, if you can’t make a session then remove yourself from the list to free it up for another attendee.
